Next up for sale is my mint Islander ISL-89 watch created by Marc Frankel, a WUS member and owner of Long Island Watch in NY. I believe Marc started making these right around the time that Seiko decided to discontinue the popular SKX models. They are identical in size and completely interchangeable with any parts that fit an SKX, but the good news is you really don't need to mod these things at all! Right out of the box they have anti-reflective sapphire crystals, lumed cermaic bezels, signed crowns, drilled lugs and Seiko NH35 movements that hand-wind and hack. I bought this particular model because the blue waffle dial is so cool and it just pops with the silver chapter ring and yellow second hand and accents. This one is sold out and discontinued, so the used market is the only place to score one now. Watch is in excellent condition with no dents or dings, and only a couple swirls on the oyster bracelet consistent with minimal wear. Everything looked good on the timegrapher, it's running about +5 and is boxed and ready to go. I've been a WUS member for 11 years and have excellent feedback from deals on here.
