Parting with my beloved MKII Quad 10 in fantastic lightly worn condition.

The long discontinued Quad 10 needs no introduction for those in the know. It’s MKII’s first release ever, from the early 2000s and one of the most faithful reproductions of the venerable IWC Mark XI ever made. It put MKII on the map and was a darling of the watch community for its entire run.

This particular example is not only one of the first micro brands, it’s one of the first modded micro brands, featuring a chunky all steel case with a custom bead blasted finish, for a true tool watch aesthetic, sans branding anywhere.

A modernly sized 40mm case, with substantial heft and long 51mm lugs. On a 20mm Zulu or NATO strap, it is a stunner.

Matt finished dial of course. No date. Under the hood is the workhorse ETA 2824. I believe Bill used the upgraded elabore 2824, but I have not verified this.

Thick, domed, sapphire crystal. No AR. Screw down crown. Screw back. Drilled lugs.

Mint dial hands. Perfect crystal (ignore the dust). The case has a few hairline scratches here and there and a few micro nicks from general wear. No major dings or dents.

It was overhauled about five years ago and has spent the majority of the time since in a drawer. I recently wound it and timed it and found it to be running running strong at about 20 seconds fast off wrist. It may or may not require service.

$900 shipped CONUS OBO. Lots of 100% positive feedback on eBay since 1998. Long time watch netizen. Former staff/moderator at Timezone.
