Up for sale is my Seiko King Quartz 9923-8060 produced in April of 1981. This is one of the later King Quartz models and used the same case as the Grand Quartz 9943-8010, but with a sand textured dial, slightly different hands, and a factory bracelet.
As best as I can tell the watch is unpolished. It has a variety of light scratches across the case and bracelet like you'd expect for a 42 year old, but is in generally good condition. Notable flaws are a ding on the lower left lug, a few deep scratches on the lower edge of the case side at 9 o'clock, and some surface finish damage where the sliding anchor of the bracelet sat unmoving for decades. There are several shallow scratches on the crystal.
Case dimensions are approximately 36mm diameter x 41mm lug-to-lug x 8.8mm thick. The lugs are 18mm.
The movement runs well and adjusts smoothly. The day and date automatically adjust with no problems. The movement was originally rated at +/-20s/year, though (like most Twin Quartz movements at this point) it runs about +15s/month. I've been told these movements can be adjusted to match their original accuracy, though I haven't got around to trying.
