Hi everyone, Moving along a very clean Seamaster De Ville from around 1966, ref. 165.020 with the no-date cal. 552 and a correct Omega beads-of-rice bracelet (ref. 1503 with no. 70 endlinks). It has just come back from service, so it’s ready to go straight into a regular rotation as a slim, classic 60s dress Omega. This one has what most people look for in the reference: original dial, sharp case, freshly serviced movement, and the period BOR bracelet that really completes the look. **Condition** **Dial:** Original sunburst silver dial, never refinished. Printing is crisp and the applied logo/markers are nicely defined. On the wrist it reads clean and elegant; under macro and close inspection you’ll see light aging/speckling consistent with an almost 60-year-old watch. No heavy spotting or moisture damage. **Hands:** Original pencil hands. My watchmaker relumed them during the recent service for better low-light legibility. The work is tidy and suits the watch, but please note the lume is no longer original tritium. **Case:** Stainless steel case in very nice shape with strong lugs and honest edges. No evidence of aggressive polishing; just normal light wear from age, with nothing deep or distracting. Reference 165.020, monocoque case, around 34–35 mm excluding crown, **Crystal:** Original plexiglass crystal, polished during the recent service, so it is mostly free of scratches to the naked eye. No cracks or chips. **Crown:** Signed Omega crown, winds and sets smoothly. **Movement:** Omega cal. 552 automatic, 24.7M serial dating the watch to around 1966. Freshly serviced by my watchmaker and running well.
