For sale is my Rolex Submariner 16610LV, the 50th Anniversary “Kermit” edition. This is a V-serial example, representing one of the final production runs of this reference before Rolex transitioned to the ceramic Submariner. The watch was originally purchased in 2010 and later sourced from AIS Watches, a reputable U.S. dealer. I purchased it intending for it to replace my 114060, but ultimately decided to keep the 114060 as it’s my son’s birth-year watch—something I’m emotionally connected to and plan to pass down. As much as I love the history and distinctiveness of the Kermit, it doesn’t make sense to keep both in my collection. This example includes box and papers, with a period-correct dial and bezel insert.
