Up for sale is a Grand Seiko 5646-7011 from 1974, all original and in overall great condition. This particular piece comes from my personal collection, and what really sets it apart is the dial which has developed a rich dark orange patina over time, creating a warm, unique character that’s rarely seen on this reference. I earning a personal nickname as the pumpkin. The case remains unpolished, with crisp lines and original finishing still visible. It shows only light signs of use overall, retaining its sharp edges and strong profile. There is however a surface defect on the bottom left lug, this is something very subtle that took me a few months to even notice. It only catches the eye in certain lighting and has been pointed out clearly in the in one of the photos as the rest it’s nit visible. The watch was serviced in late 2023, and the Caliber 5646 Hi-Beat movement is running accurately. The quickset day/date function works smoothly, and the watch is ready to wear.
