For sale is this vintage hand-wind Longines 4027 Flagship caliber L847.3 made in Switzerland during the mid 1970s. Firstly the condition is unbelievable, looking basically new for the most part. It is an ultra slim watch at less than 6mm. It is hand-wound for that true connection to your watch. There is a symbol on the inside of the bottom lugs which indicates that it is 20 microns of gold plating which is considered very high (thick) and is very resistant to wear. The Breguet Arabic numerals are very sharp and the detail shows in the applied logo and signed crown. This Longines is all original with even the original strap and matching gold hallmarked buckle. 32h power reserve. A clean elegant design with the sunburst brushed case and polished bezel with concentric brushing on the back of the case. The dial has a subtle rain-like pattern to contrast with the rest of the gold case. A very classy watch indeed. Two things to note are that I'm unsure if the watch was sold as is or if the strap is missing a keeper and the rain pattern on the dial is a tiny bit faded right near the 5 at the bottom of the dial (see last two pictures) but it is not very noticeable at all. Crystal is completely clean. True luxury that is within reach.  Despite the case being in very good condition the strap is slightly worn and you can expect a bit of general wear as it is a 50-year-old watch!
