For sale is this rare vintage Alba Orvitax (by Seiko) made in Japan in October of 1999. Orvitax was a very limited series by Alba (sister company to Seiko) and has gained a cult following for their bold and strong original designs. Orvitax are considered by many to be the pinnacle of Alba with quality that easily matched Seiko. You can see that the designers took inspiration from Seiko's Tuna models but with more tool-like utilitarian aesthetics. Only 4 Orvitax models were ever released with a few colour ways between them and only released in 1999 and 2000, hence why they are so sought after. Even the case back shows attention to detail in the design.  This model is the No.15501 Diver Series (ASKT003), reference V701-2K10 with black hands, which I haven't seen many of (usually the white hands) especially in this condition. It features 100m water resistance and two crowns, one of which operates the internal rotating bezel; a unique characteristic of this watch. I particularly like the branding of Orvitax models. The lume is fairly weak from age. I believe Orvitax models were Japan release only. Condition is pretty good for a watch of this vintage but there are signs of slight wear as you would expect. The strap is aftermarket and appears to have been hand-altered for the watch. When I bought it, it didn't have a keeper so I've added a couple of keepers that I had but they are 22mm keepers so getting some 20mm one or 21mm might be something you want to do.
