For sale is my like new C60 Trident Bronze Diver from Christopher Ward. The watch is sold with the full set. I’m the original owner and looking to move away from mechanical pieces. I’ve owned the watch for maybe 2.5 years (this particular piece is no longer in production from CW), but due to the robust bronze case and durability of finish, this watch appears brand new. The only thing that doesn’t appear brand new is the patina, but that can be removed with a little lemon juice treatment, if desired. Honestly, I like the developed patina because the watch would essentially look different to me every time I put it on due to the natural oxidation. The watch has a depth rating of 600m, has a fully bronze case, and comes with two straps. The first strap is the OEM rubber strap with a bronze buckle that came with the watch, and the second is the blue stingray strap pictured next to the watch. Christopher Ward was founded by Chris Ward, Mike France and Peter Ellis on a boat on the river Thames in 2004.

In 2005, Christopher Ward released their first watch which created a whole new model for the watchmaking industry. When influential watch bloggers wrote about their watches on TimeZone, Christopher Ward were being discussed more than Rolex in December 2005.

For the company’s 10th anniversary in 2014, it merged with Swiss manufacturing partners Synergies Horlogères SA to create Christopher Ward London Holdings Ltd. This culminated in the launch of Christopher Ward’s first in-house movement, Calibre SH21, in July 2014. Conceived and designed over the past four years by Christopher Ward’s watchmaker, Johannes Jahnke, the SH21 is entirely Swiss-made by some craftsmen. This release is said to be “probably the most important development by a British watch brand in the past 50 years.”

Christopher Ward London was the only watch company to rank in The Sunday Times SME Export Track 100, ranking 77th in 2015.
