Up for sale is a project watch that unfortunately I do not have time to undertake at the moment. This watch is a Audemars Piguet ultra thin in 18k white gold with an integrated 18k white gold bracelet. The serial on this watch dates it to 1960 I believe. This watch features an ultra thin, JLC caliber 2003 movement, that measures in at about 2mm thick. It is manual wind and really a beautiful movement. The diameter of the watch is 33mm and the thickness is +/-6 inches thick. The bracelet on the watch fits about a 6.8" wrist (my wrist is in the photos for reference and it is comfortable to wear). There is a micro adjustment to make the bracelet a bit smaller, but any larger or materially smaller adjustment would require some assistance by a goldsmith. In total, this watch weighs in at 58.8g, nearly all of which I believe is 18k gold weight. I love these ultra thins, and I bought this as a project watch, but I don't have the time right now to undertake the work that needs to be done to bring it up to full potential. It needs some laser welding and cleanup for the bracelet where it meets the case, and it needs a movement service (it is losing a few minutes a day). The dial also has some slight discoloration. All and all not overly expensive to execute, I just don't have the time. I would prefer not to scrap this watch, and I would prefer not to let it sit in a drawer and get forgotten.
