Beautiful 45mm Planet Ocean looking for a new home. This is the metal bracelet version of the PO worn by Daniel Craig as James Bond - and coincidentally the metal bracelet version of the watch worn by famed British automotive journalist turned farmer Jeremy Clarkson. Importantly, this is the first gen (and in my opinion the best gen). After this planet oceans went to a more hockey puck thick design. And more importantly, this watch has an upgraded 6 position micro adjust clasp instead of the divers extension - however the divers extension clasp will come with the watch. This is the 1154 clasp. The condition of the watch is overall very good. It doesn’t appear to have been polished before but I am not sure. There is wear consistent with its age, and the AR coating on the crystal has been rubbed off in certain places. Personally this does not bother me, but the AR coating is easily polished off or the crystal replaced if you so desire. The bezel is typically where you see wear on these and this bezel is in great shape with no noticeable dings, scrapes or scratches. Watch comes with warranty card, pictogram card, hang tag, extra links (sized just over 8” wrist with adjustable clasp fully closed), and the original clasp with divers extension. No box will be included. This is a recent catch for me and I don’t know the service history. However it seems to be keeping time just fine by my standards, and since this is a ETA base, it can easily be serviced by competent watchmakers. Asking $3000 shipped conus.
