Hi folks!  I am very excited to be able to offer a rare bird, the Cartier WSSA0046 Santos Dumont Black Lacquer!  These are very difficult to get from Cartier in the US and this example was AD purchased in November of 2023 so it has the balance of its 8 year warranty remaining! This highly sought-after model is part of their “large” collection and wears extremely well due to its incredible thinness – the case measures 43.5mm lug to lug x 31.4mm wide x only 7.3mm thick. Powered by the manual wind 430MC ultra thin movement (based on a version from Piaget), it runs at 21600 vph and has a power reserve of around 38 hours. This example is in excellent condition.  It appears to have been rarely and carefully worn – there are no significant dings, dents or scratches in the watch. Overall, it may have extremely light signs of wear under a loupe but please refer to the pictures for the best description!  There is a light hairline in the polished steel bezel strip at the XI mark, as was pointed out by an eagle-eyed potential buyer, so just putting an update in here on that. It is only visible under certain lighting angles. The OEM strap is in excellent condition and the watch will also include a beautiful Delugs leather and suede strap that was made specifically for the lugs on this case!
