It’s hard to refer to IWC as “a sleeper” because they’ve been making incredible, high-end watches since 1868, but when you look at what they’re able to offer up at the price point, they deserve a whole lot more eyes! High on that list is this 2021 Pilot Chronograph reference IW388103 and its GORGEOUS green dial! It goes from dark forest to a bright green pop depending on the light, combined with that red seconds hand and a clean chronograph layout, it’s a thing of beauty. The 41MM brushed case (with polished bezel for some nice contrast) is in great shape with nothing but very light wear. Comes on its original brown leather IWC strap, with wear, and their EasX-CHANGE system that makes strap changes a breeze (at full ask will come with an additional black IWC strap and buckle, lightly worn, fully boxed, a 300 dollar purchase from them.) This is a complete box and papers set, everything down to the IWC cleaning cloth was kept from new. Previous owner purchased through eBay so it also comes with their authentication card from 2024. Service history unknown but that gorgeous automatic (seen through the sapphire case back) is winding and setting smoothly with all chronograph functions working perfectly, and as you would expect being just 3 years old, timegrapher’s showing great numbers within COSC at 4 seconds a day and an amplitude of 317!
