A very rare King Seiko Vanac Hi-Beat watch in great condition. Stunning vibrant Ocean Blue Textured sunburst dial on a robust beefy case. Super solid build quality. Raised Applied faceted indexes. This is a top achievement of the King Seiko line, described as being equal or even superior to Grand Seikos from the 70's. Started manufacturing in 1971, it houses the famous 52KS movement, marked "Special" on dial and certified with Chronometer specifications. Unlike the later versions it features instant date change at 12am. It's running at -1,2s per day. These were designed to have premium build quality but within Japan. Handling this, I can definitely guarantee the quality is far above any modern watches in the same price zone. It's pretty rare to see a piece like this come on. Hi-beat movement. Comes with a solid BOR (Beads of Rice) bracelet. The polish is insane with sharp brushed lines and mirror finishes. Textured 3d Mirror finished hands complement the dial. Seiko has always kept such unique colored dials limited and they fetch a lot higher than other color variants of same model. This is a collector's piece. Seiko played more with the dials on King Seiko Vanac line up, extremely limited and the textures on dial are unlike any.
