Here’s a watch that needs very little introduction. Up for grabs is my Rolex Explorer II reference 216470 polar dial. It’s an awesome tool watch and travelers GMT with a dial that pops. It’s small and isn’t noticeable when it’s on the wrist and if you want it repaired it’s a fairly small job to laser weld and refinish the side of the case to factory specifications. I’ve received quotes on this from independent watchmakers to Rolliworks ranging from $200-750 for the repair. The ask price reflects that. Rolliworks as you know is the preeminent go to and that price reflects that. But the independents are great and would do a fantastic job. See the photo album for details. Other than that, the watch is in excellent condition with minimal hairlines here and there on the bracelet and a few on the crown side of the case.
