This Damasko DS30 features a blue second hand and date, which really adds a great color note to the otherwise no-nonsense but appealingly minimalist German styling. Included is a comfortable and great-looking Hirsch Robby black & blue rubber strap. This Robby strap is made by Hirsch for Damasko, with the inclusion of a signed “D” logo submarine steel buckle. The submarine steel case is VERY tough and scratch resistant. I bought this Damasko DS30 from Watchmann (excellent AD!) in August 2023 and have worn it in rotation fairly regularly, including office, geologic fieldwork, and just hanging around. After six months, I honestly can’t see any signs of wear on the watch case or bracelet. The AR-coated (inner and outer) sapphire crystal looks pristine to me, as well. This Damasko DS30 keeps excellent time….runs about +2 spd on the wrist. Warranty is valid until August 2025. Speaking of warranty, I just got the DS30 back from Watchmann's Damasko-authorized factory service. I decided to send it in for service before selling, to take care of a minor problem with semi-stiff manual winding. Greg Stein at Watchmann was terrific to deal with on the service, and the watch, which was running terrifically before, is now winding smoothly.
