Greetings fellow Watchnerds/Watchhoggers and Enthusiasts! - Offered today is this very special Seiko from the Daini factory that I picked up a couple of years ago and wore only a handful of times - There is no apparent nickname for this reference but I best believe it can be known as the Seiko Blinged Out Starship due to its case design and curves - The watch is relatively wide and flat as opposed as its pictured aesthetics. The design is more of a dress/casual vibe which can go with almost anything - Dating back to the 1973, this example is a prime example of how glorious a timepiece from half a century ago can appear today - The dial is a three part design housing three iridescent glittery golden sections. When exposed to light, it shimmers and when it’s at a rather dark place you see the brushed craftsmanship on the dial - The applied baton hour markers in shiny gold compliment the dial with sheer class - The day-date window is framed in a protruding recessed gold metal frame which fits to the perfect centre point of the centre section on the dial - The bracelet is a folded 5-part 10K GOLD TOPPED metal which consists of three parallel flat sections which are connected together by two polished grooved folded links. This gives the overall effect a serious retro-funk of the 70s era - The case is very special with two big gold plated finishing facets on each side and these are large, curved widely and slope downwards making it an absolute bliss on the wrist that feels hugged by the case - All in all, this is one of the very few and rare examples that has all the curves right and not abused by the previous owner.
