Here for sale is my Omega Seamaster 300 (233.30.41.21.01.001) *From Hodinkee:* *The Seamaster 300 is an authentic interpretation of the very first dive watch to be a part of the Seamaster family, originally released in 1957. Its vintage revival, seen here, was first launched in 2014 to massive anticipation, since going on to serve as an ideal acquisition for someone looking for a dive watch with old-school spirit but more than enough performance readiness.From a vintage perspective, the watch is accurate thanks to its straight lugs, lack of crown guards, thin bezel insert, broad-arrow handset, and domed crystal.* *From a modern ideal, the bezel is made of stainless steel with a proprietary LiquidMetal insert, the dial is built of sandblasted ceramic that gives off a matte feel, the handset has different colors of lume, with the minute hand rendered in green matching the bezel pip and the hour hand in blue matching the hour markers, and the watch has a time zone function, allowing its wearer to adjust the hour hand in one-hour jumps without disturbing the standard timekeeping function.* *Beyond the movement and bezel, the bracelet is decidedly more 2010s than 1957. The solid, three-link bracelet has a foldover push-button deployant that has a hidden extension. Inside the clasp is a small lever labeled "PUSH" that easily extends the bracelet about an inch. Interestingly, the dial execution has the appearance of a conventional sandwich dial – a construction that involves two separate layers and openings to let the second layer, often made of lume, shine through – but it is actually a standard dial with large, triangular hour markers cut out and filled with lume. The execution adds a bit of extra depth to the overall appearance of the dial.* This one is in good condition, and could easily be brought to excellent condition with a polish.
