This one is truly difficult to let go of… 😪 The iconic Cartier Santos…What can I say about this piece that hasn’t been said already… It’s got the look, the history, the style, the bling, the utility… it’s just perfect. I love the piece, but I’m working on thinning out my collection and this piece doesn’t get the wrist time it deserves. I bought the piece from a Cartier boutique in Toronto, Canada in Oct. 2021. I’ve worn it maybe a handful of times throughout the last couple years. I’ve found myself gravitating more towards more Rolex sport models and haven’t been giving this one the attention it deserves. The watch is in fantastic condition considering how easy it is to scuff the high-polished bezel. There are a couple small scuffs on the top of the bezel, and small scratch on the bracelet (seen in the pictures) but they can’t even be noticed during regular wear. It will come with everything I got from the boutique when I purchased it. I bought this piece brand new from a Cartier boutique in Toronto, Canada. CONDITION: Considering how easily these Santos models can get scratched, I’d say this is in prat great shape. There are a few little scuffs on the top part of the bezel (which I’ve tried to make clear with direct light) and small marks here or there, but no real scratches of major dings on the bezel. Very clean compared to other I’ve seen for sale. MOVEMENT: Manufacture mechanical movement with automatic winding, caliber 1847 MC. This mechanical self-winding movement was entirely created and developed by Cartier watchmakers and engineers. Thanks to its adjustment system, each movement is individually and meticulously adjusted by a watchmaker to ensure high precision that meets the high standards of Swiss watchmaking. To effectively resist the strong magnetic fields a watch can be exposed to in everyday life and maintain its precision, the escape mechanism has been designed with non-magnetic components.
