Waltham Watch Company needs no further introduction- a famous American watch company founded in 1850 – they made some of the most beautiful pocket watches in the early 20th century.

In the 90s, Waltham started to independently market it’s unique line in the Japanese market and this watch belongs to that era. Waltham International was a business entity (to revive the original American Waltham watch company) that sources and uses a mixture of parts across US and Asia in their watches.

Movement - Handwound Helbros (Helvetica Brothers, a Chicago-based Watch co equally rich in history) R75 B88 movement, with date (non-quickset). Case and caseback made in Hong Kong (pic) for Waltham. Very few pieces of this are left in the wild. Circa 90’s, fully serviced and working. Slick profile for a diver, not chunky.

Dial - slate grey dial and baton indices, hours minutes

Case - stainless steel. Rootbeer natural brown patina bezel is bi-directional, no clicks when turned.

Size - 37.5MM, 42MM lug-to-lug

Lug width - 19mm

Straps - 1 x 19mm rubber diver style

With 1 stainless steel watch buckle
