For sale is my Seiko 6105 from 1976

Very good vintage condition, perfect working order.

Serviced February 2023 with NOS crystal and crown rebuild.

For sale is a really nice 6105, commonly known as the Captain Willard as it was worn by Martin Sheen’s character in the Movie Apocalypse Now.

Dimensions are 43.5mm stainless steel cushion case. A lug-to-lug length of 47mm and a case thickness of 12.5mm with 19mm lugs.

The watch will come on an Uncle Seiko waffle strap but I will also include the original Seiko Tyre Tread strap although this has cracked slightly ( very common with old Seiko dive straps )so I wouldn’t recommend wearing it on the watch.

The watch is all original with the exception of an NOS Seiko crystal which was fitted in February this year when the watch was serviced by one of the best in the Seiko world, Guy Jeffery. Guy also rebuilt the crown which works exactly as it should.

Overall the watch is in very good condition, the case definitely has the odd mark/light scratch on it but nothing major and no major signs of polishing etc. I don’t buy rubbish and this watch is far better than most others you see for sale at higher asking prices than mine.

The dial and hands are what I would call very good, nice bright white lume and the stop light seconds hand is in exceptional condition. Very minimal brassing etc

The only negative I would mention is the light damage to the bezel insert as shown in pictures. It’s scratched/chipped at the bezel pip triangle. Otherwise the bezel works perfectly
