I'm looking to downsize my collection and am looking to sell my lightly used Grand Seiko SBGP017 "Sea of Clouds" limited edition quartz watch. I'm looking to get $3,100 shipped CONUS, or $3,000 for local NYC pickup. I am the original owner and purchased this limited-edition timepiece from the Grand Seiko boutique in SoHo. This watch has Grand Seiko's 9F85 quartz movement and contains an open caseback, unique for quartz watches. The timepiece is accurate to +/- 5 seconds per year, and the hour hand can be advanced independently to maintain accuracy when switching timezones. The gold star at the 6:00 position on the dial indicates that it contains the upgraded version of caliber 9F85. The watch wears thin on the wrist at only 10.7mm thickness, and the sleek 44GS enhances the thin features. The watch is in excellent condition due to me being deathly afraid of scratching the zaratsu-polished surfaces. There is one tiny nick on the bezel around the 8:00 position indistinguishable from a spec of dust, and there is scratch on the bottom-left portion of the clasp. The watch includes the original box and papers, extra links, and comes sized for a 6.5" wrist. I'm aware that I'm a first-time seller on here and that comes with a buyer taking extra precautions.
