Hi Watchex - Here is a remarkable special Rolex Explorer II ref: 1655 Freccione known colloquially as the Steve McQueen (though he allegedly never wore this piece!). 8,3XX,XXX serial from c.1984. This watch is one of my absolute all time favorites. Between the matte dial, the lollipop luminous piped second hand, the big orange 24 hour hand and the classic bezel….this is a stunner. 39mm diameter; 13mm thickness. This watch was fully serviced by Rolex in 2005 (Rolex will no longer service pieces older than 30 years). Included is the service guarantee, full service paperwork which includes all the work done on the watch, and the credit card receipt (all from 2005, it’s very rare to have all the credence). The servicing included a new dial, hands, crown/tube, and bezel. The case is original and pristine.
