FULL DISCLOSURE: when the chronograph is running, the chronograph seconds hand sometimes stops just short of 12 o’clock, causing the movement to stop running. The chrono hands can still be reset back to zero and started again, and the seconds hand might or might not stop again near 12. It is an intermittent issue and I don’t know the cause, so it might be worth getting the chronograph function checked by a watchmaker. When the chronograph is not running, the movement keeps good time (see timegrapher photo in the album) and does not have this intermittent stopping issue. Amplitude is good for this movement family at full power reserve. All chronograph hands resets to zero. Quickset day and date functions normally. For sale is an uncommon variant of the Jumbo, a Seiko 6138-3009 column wheel, vertical clutch chronograph. The 6138-3009 is the rarest sub variant of the Jumbos, believed to only have been made for 9 months for the North America market. The 3009 case has a wider bevel and lower crystal compred to the 3002 case. The case is unpolished and all the case lines and original case lines are still sharp.
