***If ya dig it, don’t forget to upvote - thanks!*** Since its birth in 1963 the Carrera (getting its name from the Carrera Panamerica, a legendary car race through Mexico) quickly rose to chronograph fame. Throughout the decades it’s always maintained such a simple, pure design. So it’s fitting that TAG Heuer would release 3000 of this limited edition example in 2012 in honor of Jack Heuer’s 80th birthday. Can’t guarantee this will make you go faster. Or be a better driver. But it sure looks good on the wrist while hittin’ the open road! REF: CV2119 YEAR: 2012 DIAL: I think they knocked it out of the park with this one, staying true to the design while bringing in a little bit o’ flare for the legend’s b-day! The silver pops beautifully then you get those accents - of course Ferrari red for the man himself! All in beautiful condition. CRYSTAL: Sapphire crystal in fantastic shape. CASE: 41mm stainless stainless steel case with those classic Carrera lugs. Has wear throughout, as you’d expect on polished surfaces, a bit on the bezel but mostly seen on the lugs and case sides. Looks fantastic on the wrist - and awesome to see that signed and numbered LE caseback! MOVEMENT: The automatic chronograph was fully serviced last year and will come with receipt for the work (not a small service charge so nice to have that taken care of!) As you would imagine it’s running and setting beautifully, including quickset date, with all chronograph functions snapping exactly as they should. STRAP: Comes on its original black perforated racing style leather strap with red backing and Heuer deployant clasp. Light wear but still in great shape. ACCESSORIES: Watch on strap with service receipt and TAG Heuer travel service case. PRICE: $2895 which will include 2 day fully insured shipping through FedEx anywhere in the US.
