Hello again! I am very excited to be able to offer a military-issued watch that has grown in popularity and cult status among Seiko collectors: the MoD issued vintage Seiko 7A28-7120 from 1988. This would make an awesome addition to the collection for any military collector or someone looking for a cool, durable, wearable birth year watch! This example is in fantastic, worn vintage condition and originally came from Rexworthy Watches, a known Seiko servicer. I do not know the service history, but if it passed through his hands then it was likely looked over / serviced and I was told that he did install a brand new Seiko battery. All pushers function properly and crisply and the chronograph functions work as expected. There are light marks on the crystal and no heavy wear on the case itself, just normal marks and micro dings from a watch that could probably tell some awesome stories if it could talk! You can see the MoD pheon arrow clearly stamped on the caseback signifying that this was an issued watch, likely issued to the Royal Air Force in ’88. The watch comes as watch only on a black nato with black hardware. It will come in a plastic protected hard case to protect it en route to your watch box.
