I’m selling a 1975 Rolex Datejust 36 with a rare white ‘Pie Pan Buckley’ dial. The material is stainless steel and the reference number is 1603. The watch is freshly serviced and in absolute mint condition. There’s no patina on the dial or hands whatsoever and the case is sharp. It has a crisp white ‘Open 6 and 9’ date wheel and, unlike numerous other ‘Buckley’ dials, still has its original corresponding ink black handset. I’m offering it for sale as watch only. Depending on your preference the watch comes either on a new black alligator leather strap, which compliments the black Roman numerals extraordinarily well, or on an original Rolex Jubilee bracelet. The bracelet is a later example with solid links from January 1991 (P1). The condition is excellent and there’s little stretch, especially considering its age. The clasp code is 78360 with matching 555 end links. The serial number is 40xxxxx, dating the watch to 1975.
