Hema is a Swiss firm from La Chaux-de-fonds, short for Henri Maurer, then owner of the brand. Hema offered many collections, particularly dedicated to nautical activities, with their regatta and diving collection.
This model is part of the Aquaspot collection, from the end of the 1960's. A large 20 atm case with indexes typical of skin divers. Bi-directional original minty bezel. Swiss movement ETA 2452 black date made in swiss. This is a true vintage classic in amazing shape.
Aprox 40mm in size, Barrel case like Doxa. It wears great on the wrist. Beautiful even patina of the indices , Original hands, Original unsigned crown.
The Smooth running ETA 2452 automatic mechanical movement is keeping time but I don't know it's history and I recommend a service if the date placement bothers you.
What I do know is that the date does not sit perfectly in the date window and and when setting the time the crown slips some.
This is a pretty rare watch to find in nice shape
strap not included. I will equip with a new nato or something like that.
