The specific model is a some variant of a Hamilton Thin-O-Matic, a line frequently outfitted for award watches. This particular watch was presented to a Mr. Harold Raymer in August 1983. I was not able to find any information about Mr. Raymer online; however, the name "Ed G. Stanoszek" is on the side of the outer box, and I was able to find that Mr. Stanoszek and Mr. Raymer worked at U.S. Steel's Duquesne Works in Duquesne, Pennsylvania. The plant closed in May of 1984, meaning this watch was given to one of the last employees at the Duquesne plant. The watch itself is immaculate condition, and comes with the original inner box, outer box, and user manual. The outer box has a slight tear in one corner, but all the packaging is otherwise in excellent condition. Powered by a quartz movement, the only complication on the watch is a date window. It is on an extra large lizard strap which is in good condition but quite large. I purchased this watch on this sub several months ago and have basically never worn it. Selling to possibly fund a grail purchase only, otherwise I'd keep it and finally get a new strap, because I don't think I'd ever find another one this original.
