For sale today is my 1970s Seiko 4006-6010  Asking $200 (shipping included), shipped via USPS. I bought the watch in 2021  and have found myself wearing it less and less due to my growing collection so I want to send the watch off to someone who will wear it more. The watch is currently on a generic gold tone steel bracelet that is sized to fit loosely on my 7.25 wrist, The watch could benefit from a service, it runs fast at about a minute a day. I could never justify getting it serviced since i only wore it once every 2 weeks or so, i didn't mind having to correct the time when i wore it. The movement included a quick set date function via pressing the alarm button all the way in. this functions perfectly. The actual alarm function functions perfectly however. The alarm, even on a perfect example, tends to be less of an exact on the minute alarm and more of a it will chime a few minutes before the event. Mine chimes about 5 minutes early. The chiming is very loud and chimes for about 30 seconds. The gold tone is holding up nicely except on the alarm button where it has worn off some. The acrylic is nice and clear except for one tiny deeper scratch just above the 7 baton. it refuses to buff out but is so small you really never notice it. The bracelet itself is a generic and isnt anything special, but the gold tone on the watch isnt the most common so the bracelet is one of the few I could find that mostly matches. the clasp does have some steel showing through the gold tone. Overall the watch is less of a watch box queen and more of a well used watch, if you looking a watch you want to wear for a great price and dont mind it being less than perfect shoot me a DM.
