I am thinking about selling my Breitling Transocean Chrono-Matic chronograph automatic watch in 42 mm (measured without crown) with the Breitling caliber 12. Reference number: 2119 Age of the watch: 1971 The original Breitling steel strap is suitable for wrists up to around 20 cm and has the Breitling folding clasp. The watch is in good condition, the tritium dial and hands are very clean. The watch is unpolished and therefore naturally has slight optical signs of wear and scratches due to its age, but has beautiful sharp edges. In recent testing, the watch ran very well on the time machine with around -3 s / d at an amplitude of 270 degrees. All functions are present, the chronograph resets cleanly and the return works perfectly. The original Breitling Caliber 12 is installed, which was the result of a joint development by Breitling, Heuer and Hamilton and the Caliber 11 / 11i. This is a chronograph movement with automatic winding, which was something very special for the 70s. Asking $3400 shipped / insured (Venmo, Paypal). I have limited flair here (three transactions as a buyer, only one of which was logged as completed), but over 1,000 sales on eBay since 2000(!) with 100% positive feedback.
