I am offering for sale an Omega Seamaster Chronometer ref. 168.024 from 1970, housing the celebrated Caliber 564 with quick-set date. This example was freshly serviced by my watchmaker in July 2025 and is running excellently, ready for many more years of reliable use.


The watch features its original sunburst dial in excellent condition, complemented by the correct dauphine hands. The 35mm stainless steel case has been expertly refinished by my watchmaker — edges remain crisp, and the sides have been re-brushed to a high standard. On the wrist, it wears beautifully.

It comes fitted with its original Omega beads-of-rice bracelet (ref. 1502) with the correct No. 11 endlinks, which is long enough to fit wrists up to 8 inches.

Condition

Dial: Original sunburst dial in excellent condition, with clean printing and sharp markers. Correct dauphine hands present.
Case: 35mm stainless steel, expertly refinished with sharp edges and re-brushed sides.
Crystal: aftermarket plexiglas
Crown: Original signed crown.
Movement: Omega Cal. 564 (chronometer, quick-set date), freshly serviced in July 2025. Runs and keeps excellent time; all functions operate as they should.
Bracelet: Original Omega BOR bracelet ref. 1502 with No. 11 endlinks, fits up to an 8" wrist.

Note: This is a vintage timepiece and is not water-resistant. Although gaskets may have been replaced during service, these watches were never built for modern water resistance. Please keep it away from water, humidity, and steam.
