For sale today is my Seiko Laurel Historical Collection SCVM001. Released as a part of the Historical Collection in 2000, the SCVM001 can be considered the most faithful rendition of Seiko's iconic first wristwatch. The reissue features a porcelain enamel dial like the original and is equipped with the high beat 4s28 movement based on the high grade king Seiko 52 series. The case size is slightly increased from the original to 33mm which allows it to match modern preferences closer. Cosmetically the watch is in excellent condition with light signs of wear for its age throughout. The very rare original strap is in deteriorated but still usable condition. Mechanically the watch is running well and keeping good time. Service history unknown. I can service the movement at an additional cost.
