[WTS] Omega Seamaster 300 from 1969 Ref. 166.024 RESTORED & SERVICED
[Album](https://imgur.com/a/omega-seamaster-300-166-024-restored-by-omega-wZNBpGK) [Timestamp](https://imgur.com/ZY3pvmy) Up for sale is an Omega Seamaster 300 Reference 166.024 with Cal. 563 (US Market version of Cal. 565). This is a nice example that returned from a full factory service by Omega in Switzerland about two years ago. Since its service, the watch has only been tried on a few times but not actively worn. The case is in nice condition, having been refinished to factory specifications during the Omega service. The caseback engraving is light and barely visible from years of wear, which is common for these models as the hippocampus logo was originally etched and tended to fade over time. The only other "issue" that i've noticed is that the factory service bezel can sometimes be difficult to turn in certain spots, though it remains fully functional and otherwise easy to use. It may require some adjustment. The movement runs great and to factory specifications post service. During the service, Omega installed a new dial, hands, crystal, crown, and gaskets. The bezel was with the watch before. This is similar to a "watchco" build, but has an original case and what I believe to be an original SM300 movement serial. The watch comes installed on a preowned Uncle Seiko Holzer strap, which pairs nicely with the watch and offers a comfortable fit. I had an extra Omega clasp cover in my parts drawer that I installed on the bracelet. A nice opportunity to own a factory-restored Omega Seamaster 300, offering the best of both vintage authenticity and modern reliability. Price: **~~$6,000 USD~~** **$5,800 USD + Shipping**. Payment Method: Bank Wire, Wise or Zelle preferred, but PayPal G&S (+ fee) potentially available (reach out to discuss) Location: Massachusetts, USA Shipping: Calculated depending on location and transit time. Return Policy: No returns unless I have erred or misrepresented something. In the case of any error/misrepresentation on my part, then you must initiate the return within 3 days of receipt. Please feel free to ask any and all questions. I have a few sales on here and can provide references. I also have an established eBay account that I can show you. You may see the watch listed elsewhere. ***NB:*** *Some people refer to these as "watchco" builds, which is very similar, but a little different. WatchCo built watches completely from service parts and old donor movements. This would include use of a service case Reference 166.0324. Omega eventually restricted the practice. This, however, is an original vintage SM300 that has been refreshed by the factory with modern parts.*
