This vintage Rolex Datejust ref. 1603 from 1962 is a standout example of one of Rolex's most iconic and long-lasting collections. It features a discontinued engine-turned bezel, more tapered lugs, acrylic crystal, and a fascinating silver "Pie Pan" dial with sloped edges, older-style indices, older-style hands, and Tritium. The 36mm stainless steel case is paired with a 5-piece Jubilee fold-over bracelet with oysterclasp. This is an outstanding example of Rolex's enduring design language, blending vintage charm with everyday wearability. The watch was purchased from Bob's Watches (very reputable dealer) and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity produced by WCSA. It was also serviced prior to purchase by Bob’s Watches. The watch is in great vintage condition. There is one speck on the dial, and the "30" on the date window contains a mark that adds a ton of character to it. The watch has been sized to a 6.33" wrist, but comes with the 2 extra jubilee links that would accommodate up to a 7.25" wrist.
