Up for sale is this beautiful and rare Breitling Cockpit C49350 in stainless steel and 18k rose gold (this line was later renamed “Galactic”). This watch features not only this amazing black/rose gold color combo (wonderful for the holiday season), a COSC-certified chronometer movement with a big date function, and full solid rose gold rotating dive bezel with 4 raised riders (most of the two-tone Cockpit / Galactic references have a steel bezel with gold only on the riders).

This easy-wearing and classic piece measures 41mm in diameter, 49mm and about 12mm thick without counting the domed sapphire crystal, 14mm if you do include it. Of course, this watch also sports the ridiculously comfortable and eye-catching pilot style bracelet in steel and solid rose gold as well. The bracelet is currently sized to loosely fit my 7.75” in wrist, and there is an additional link included, which together with the microadjust on the clasp, should allow this to fit a wrist as large as 8.25”. I believe this is all the links that would have originally come with the watch, but I can't be sure.

This watch was originally purchased in 2008 from Tourneau (a Breitling AD) and all the stamped warranty booklet and instructions are included. I bought this off eBay in March of 2023 (eBay authentication card will be included), and immediately had it serviced at a shop near me in NYC, and later had Breitling replace a missing rider on the bezel. In addition to the papers, the outer cardboard and inner Bakelite boxes, including an inner leather or leatherette travel case, will also be included. Please note, though, one side of the top cardboard box has become unglued from the others, and the inner travel case is flaking apart, so it’s not really usable. The Bakelite presentation box is still in good cosmetic shape, though.
