It’s the **Bulova Royal Oak**, in the two tone automatic configuration which they made very few of during the late 70s-80s. This controversial piece is hailed as the best RO homage on the market, with the details down to the “tapisserie” dial. Cased in 36mm w/o the crown, it is in good condition with a clean dial. Runs and functions fine (not sure how many SPD) but would recommend a service for peak performance. It beats at 28,800 with the reliable Bulova “high grade” ETA 2892. The key RO details of the beveled edges, a brushed finish on the bracelet, and the sandblasted back of the case are still sharp and present. Its sized for a 7ish inch wrist. The bracelet has barely any stretch to it with not too much play at all. Reference: 4423901 **Priced at $1,750 + label** **Bulova Royal Oak** (Ref. 4420101) – Meh Condition Model/Reference: 4420101 Size: ~35mm diameter (wears like a 36-37mm), ~8mm thickness, ~44mm lug to lug length (integrated) What’s Included/Accessories: Watch only, currently sized for a ~7 wrist Condition: This is an increasingly hard model to find and relatively uncommon Bulova Royal Oak. It’s missing a screw in the bezel and the top right of where the bracelet connects with the lug (doesn’t effect how the watch wears) The plating on the crown is worn but that is very typical on this reference given its small size. Operationally, it works well but could benefit from a service. A true classic with the serial dating this particular model back to 1986. This example comes on a fully linked aftermarket bracelet with the oem clasp. The **Rolex 15000 OP date** is a true classic and a cool stainless watch that you can have for a reasonable price to wear with anything.
