A rare and interesting cream dial and gilt Roman numerals. The way the numerals are arranged is like a spider's web, hence the nickname for these coveted dials. The larger Roman numerals sit around a gold-coloured disc as if they had been delicately laid on top of the dial in a single piece and this creates a sense of symmetry. The dial is otherwise elegantly simple. Steel blue hour and minute hands in the centre, 'Must de Cartier' at 12 o'clock. and the famous Cartier logo at 6 o'clock.
