HAPPY FATHER’S DAY! Of course Omega is known for its Speedmaster, and rightfully so, but they’ve gotten into some other very sweet chronographs over the decades, top of that has got to be the 1970s reference 176.007, sometimes referred to as The Jedi. Seen here with the coveted blue dial and hard to find original bracelet! It just epitomizes 70s funk, from that beautiful matte blue with those pops of color to the oversized brushed bezel. And this one just returned from a full service and will come with a one year warranty! That gorgeous blue dial is in fantastic condition, with crisp colors and beautiful printing. The original Omega signed plexi crystal has a little bit of wear throughout, but nothing that detracts from the dial and great to find the original still on. The 38mm case appears to be unpolished with lines that could cut ya and beautiful even brushing on the bezel. As expected with an unpolished example, there is wear throughout mostly seen on the smooth sides, but so great to find that original design intact! Comes as watch only, on its hard to find original bracelet (these are often seen on strap only for that reason) the Omega 1170 with 653 end links. Bracelet has age related wear throughout, as expected, but also looks great and will fit up to approximately 7.25 inches. The Omega cal 1040, a Lemania based chronograph movement with quickset date (that also served as Omega’s first automatic chronograph) was just fully serviced by my watchmaker and will come with his one-year warranty. As anyone who’s had these worked on knows, it is not cheap, so enjoy this with no worries or extra expense!
