I view the Rolex “Tuxedo” dial Datejust as the Mini Cooper of Rolex’s offerings. Their owners love them because they’re quirky, zany, and eye-grabbing despite their relatively small nature. The Rolex Tuxedo dials have also been discontinued for some time, but even if they weren’t- you aren’t going to see many of them at your local watch meetup, wedding, or corporate ice-breaker event. The black/silver dials in particular are uncommon.
