When it comes to Grand Seiko… HECK YEAH! The HIGHLY limited edition (talkin’ only 140 ever made) Genbi Valley SBGW277 is pure wrist art! The color and texture of this dial is UH-MAZING and this example comes as a one owner, 1.5 year old full AD set that’s barely been worn! REFERENCE: SBGW277 NUMBER: 108/140 DATE: 2022 DIAL: Designed to emulate the greenery of the Genbi Valley, GS knocked it out of the park! This beauty changes depending on the light, going from a stunning moss green to a gorgeous teal. Then there’s the dial’s almost woven texture, like braided grass or fine Japanese denim - it’s mesmerizing and something you want to, and really NEED to stare at under a loupe for hours! CASE: 37.3mm (yes, .3!) stainless case hits the sweet spot. In fantastic shape, even under macro I can only see a light hairline or two on the highly polished case - it’s barely been worn, could almost pass for new! CRYSTAL: Sapphire crystal is in perfect shape too, showing off that stunning dial! MOVEMENT: The hand wound GS caliber 9S64 with its 72 hour power reserve is a marvel - seen through the sapphire case back. It’s gorgeous! Service history unknown, but as you would expect from a 1.5 year old GS it’s running beautifully with fantastic timegrapher numbers at 7 seconds a day and an amplitude of 295! STRAP: Comes on its original GS strap, with only minimal wear, and original GS tang buckle.
