I am selling this stunning Tudor Heritage Black Bay 41 from my personal collection. The 79220N (known as the Smiley) reference was limited to FIVE MONTHS of production between 2015 and 2016, meaning that there is an estimate of less than 3,000 of these watches produced! This limited production reference has quickly become a collector's piece and can easily be anticipated to hold value over a long term. Tudor discontinued the 79220 reference (with ETA movements) and replaced it with the in-house 79230 reference.

It is the shortest production model ever in Tudor’s history. As a result, there are not a huge number of them on the market. Some authorized retailers only received a few, and this obviously makes availability very scarce.

This watch was sized for my wrist and worn a handful of times. Once the scarcity was realized, I bought a BB58 and placed this one in the safe. The crystal and watch head are in excellent condition. The sticker is still on the case back! There are a few superficial, shallow scratches on the bracelet clasp and couple of the links. There are also a few on the lug backside from strap changes the short time I wore it. This is an unpolished watch.

This is a great, non-abused example of the Black Bay Black Smiley. Don't confuse with the blue or red smiley versions. The Black variant is the one that had the limited production of only 5 months and less than 3,000 units produced. Some Tudor fans do not like the rivet bracelet on the BB58 that replaced this watch. The 79220N has a non-rivet bracelet!
