Up for sale is a 1970’s gold-plated Breitling Top Time. The dial is 38mm and the watch takes 20mm straps. Unfortunately, the plating on the watch is damaged on the sides of the case (corrosion) and there are chips in the back of two of the lugs. I was told the only way to mask this damage would be to have the watch entirely re-plated, so this watch will likely just need to be worn with these battle scars. There is a crack in the crystal between 1 - 2 o’clock, so it will need a new crystal. The movement is running (both the seconds subdial as well as the chronograph hand and pushers), but a servicing would be recommended. Therefore, I am imagine this watch might be of interest to someone who likes tinkering with watches, someone who would want to work it back into wearable condition or someone who might want it for parts/dial. The dial itself is in nice condition with all lume plots in tact.
