Dial: Original matte, non-serif dial with tritium hour markers faded by sea and sun. Hour/minute/seconds hands are original and untouched.

Movement: Automatic.

Case / Crown: Case shows signs of wear commensurate with its age. Bushed finish on lugs is present and the edges are sharp. Serial and Reference numbers are crisp. Original crown.

Crystal / Insert: Original crystal. Original “Fat Font” insert has faded to a mid-tone gray.

Bracelet: Rolex folded link bracelet 9315 with 380 end pieces. Minimal stretch. Twelve links. Rare “PATETED” stamp on diver extension. Correct no date clasp blade.

Accessories: Rolex 660 ft / 200 m anchor and chain

Condition: This 1973 Rolex Submariner Ref. 5513 has lived a life of adventure, yet it was well maintained by the original owner. There is evidence of three previous movement services. Although its last service is date is unknown, owing to Rolex superior build quality this 5513 fully winds and keeps good time. The case was recently refreshed by Los Angeles Watchworks and is looking excellent. Sides of case were left as-is.
