Part of Sinn’s “Mission Timer” line, it was originally designed for use by elite German diver units. There are several distinctive features to the watch, but none more than Sinn’s “HYDRO” technology, meaning the watch is filled, fully, with oil. This oil has several benefits, notably better viewing angles under and above water (the dial looks like it’s being projected onto the crystal), no fogging underwater, and is pressure resistant at all diving depths. Please note that due to the oil fill, all HYDRO watches have quartz movements. The example seen here is in truly excellent condition and was serviced in 2021 (with the invoice to prove it from a previous owner), so the oil is completely full. The watch includes two bezels, the one seen on the watch is newer, though accurate to EZM 2s, and the other is the original, which is in excellent condition as well. It includes two straps, one with a Sinn buckle, the other a green rubber, as well as two end-links, though there was no bracelet when I purchased it. It comes packaged in a Sinn service pouch. Going to be sad to see this one go, as it’s a great and unique watch.
