This Starter is meant to be Alpina's interpretation on a pilot's watch. The case is a proud 44mm, which has been discontinued by Alpina. If you want this watch from Alpina, you will get a sad 40mm case diameter watch. Additionally, this is a dressy watch as well as a robust watch, due to the fact that the 2 piece stainless case is plated in beautiful Rose-Gold. This is not your Grandad's plating either. It's not going to chip, flake, fade or start looking bad. It's beautiful and will stay that way. The watch comes with a spare factory strap; I always get a spare strap if they're available. Its black leather, textured almost like a fine unbuckle. Off white stitching. Black dial, which has also been discontinued. The movement is Alpina's AL 525 automatic movement, featuring a date window at 3 0'clock, hacking seconds, rosed gold plated hands and applied indices that are rose gold plated. The hands and indices are lumed. Refer to my pictures. You are getting a watch that is as new as you can get without being new. By that, I mean the watch was worn around the house 2 or 3 times. There's not a scratch or scrape, and It will ship with the box, hang tag attached, sticker on the back, and protective wrapper around the watch case for protection.
