This is a high accuracy quartz watch.   The main feature of this one is the dial, of course. It includes 1,027 stars and planets with a magnitude of 4.8 or brighter, and 166 galaxies and nebulae, including well-known features like the Andromeda galaxy and the Orion nebula. Stars are color-coded according to their temperature, and an ingenious mechanism rotates the map counterclockwise to accurately reflect the retrograde motion of the stars and planets. Viewed through the dome of the sapphire crystal, the star-filled sky is an ever-unfolding marvel of astronomical wonder. The back of the case does have light scratches across it, and I hope the photo captures that. It looks absolutely stunning in person and I really enjoy it, but I'm looking to find a new purchase.
