Up for sale is my Longines Avigation Bigeye, reference L2.816.4.53.2. This is a column wheel chronograph and is based off of a rare model that is thought to date back to the 1930. It was the winner of the 2017 GPHG “revival” prize and doesn't come up for sale too often. I purchased this here a few months ago and have loved the watch, but I have gone back to my Apple Watch for health reasons and am selling my automatic watches. The watch is in great condition. There is one small scratch on the 3/4 o'clock lug, strap change marks on the back, and minor hairline marks on the back of the case. The chrono hands all line up and snap back instantaneously. Please look at the pictures, which should be considered part of the listing. I don’t have a timegrapher but this watch kept very accurate time within a second or so slow per day. As always, YMMV. The Big Eye comes on the Bulang & Sons leather strap, which is in excellent condition. Also included is the oem leather strap, which looks unworn, as well as the three NATO straps from Crown & Buckle (see pictures). Also included (but not pictured) is the full kit including the huge double boxes (the outer box is not in great shape from prior owner) and hangtags, minus the large coffee table booklet (was not included when sent to me).
