For sale today is a gorgeous vintage 1952 Omega bumper automatic men's watch. This watch is running very smoothly and keeping good time. When I got it, it was running 1 minute fast per day, but I just had the timing adjusted today, so it should be more accurate now. Pics: https://imgur.com/a/dQFhD2V Timestamp: https://imgur.com/a/nvbGKum 33mm snap-back case. 14k gold-filled. 18mm lugs set on a brand new genuine calf-skin blue leather strap. Strap has never been worn. Gold color buckle to match the case. Powered by an Omega 344 Swiss made bumper automatic movement. 17 jewels. Small-seconds. If you're not familiar with bumper automatics, it's an early style of automatic from before the standard 360° rotor became popular. You can actually feel the bumper rotor working while you wear the watch, and it's kinda cool! Find more info about Omega 344 at the link below: http://www.ranfft.de/cgi-bin/bidfun-db.cgi?10&ranfft&&2uswk&Omega_344 There is a personalized engraving on the case back marked 1955. This is probably the year it was purchased at retail, but the serial number on the movement indicates it was manufactured in 1952. Amazing condition for a 70+ year old watch! Asking $425 USD OBO including shipping within North America. Great international rates available too.
