The “Speedster” takes inspiration from the “Tonneau” case (derivative of the French word 'cask' or 'barrel,')- a vintage wrist wrapping design with elegant contours born from a progressive age seeking to break away from the traditional round shape of the watch. With the familiar daring pastel colours & homage to the iconic “Khanjar” Emblem, this otherwise faithful recreation of Middle Eastern regal heritage gets a touch of ‘fast and furious’ from its matte black paintjob, a protective layer of Diamond-Like-Carbon coating, as well as sporty Cordura straps to match. UNDONE pays homage to the regal heritage of these esoteric colours through the replication of the "Khanjar" Royal Crest, which were found exclusively on special watches commissioned by the Sultanage, as gifts for leaders & foreign dignitaries. Bringing the dial to life is a liquid-like finish that gives you the feeling of paint that has never dried. To achieve this look, it undergoes successive rounds of sanding to get rid of any unevenness (or the “orange peel” effect) in the enamel paint application.
